You will need to follow the instructions below and email an automated report to:
dermatology@uhbw.nhs.uk.
Take a ‘Smart Check’ photo to automatically analyse your lesion.
To take a ‘smart check’ press the camera button on the home screen (see below).
You’ll be guided through the process of taking a photo, adding symptoms and saving it to a new folder.
You will receive an automatic risk assessment from SkinVision.
This will be either ‘high’ or ‘low’ risk.
Note, if the ‘Smart Check’ can’t get a successful image lock, you can take a standard photo of the close-up detail instead.
Take Two manual photos of the lesion using the manual Camera
Return to the camera screen and select the ‘track’ camera option.
1. Take an angled close-up to show any detail of the lesion (such as being raised from the skin, or a textured surface).
2. Take another photo from further away to show where the lesion is on the body (e.g. about arms length away). Store in the same folder.
If you have other moles or marks on your skin, at this stage use a pen to draw an arrow or number to show which is the right one.
How to share a folder
1. Open the folder you store the images in.
2. Press the ‘share icon’ at the top of the screen.
